Respite Team Leader Opportunity

As a Respite Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the delivery of respite support services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities.

  • Supervise and support a team of respite workers to deliver person-centred care.
  • Manage daily routines, shift coverage, and participant bookings to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Ensure all support is delivered in line with participant plans and NDIS requirements.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and staff development to build a skilled and confident team.
  • Liaise with families, support coordinators, and internal teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, incident reporting, and risk management processes to ensure compliance and quality.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a leadership or senior support role.
  • Knowledge of NDIS, person-centred care, and respite service delivery principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, motivate staff, and solve problems effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
