Fyfe work with a wide range of clients in the Property & Infrastructure and Energy & Resources sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.The OpportunityWe are currently looking for a Senior Designer, or a desire to move into a senior role, to join our team to work on project portfolios across the energy and resources sectors.
This role will be based in our Adelaide, and you will work in a team of experienced designers supporting the business and delivering on a range of projects.The ResponsibilitiesThis is a senior position that requires an energetic team player who can lead projects, consult with clients, and mentor junior team members.You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and project managers, to ensure projects are delivered on time and exceed client expectations.Skills & ExperienceIn this role you will be part of a design office responsible for delivering a wide range of projects using 2D and 3D software packages.
You will have strong communication skills, evidence of design experience within mining industry and be adaptable to a fast-paced engineering office environment.
Projects includes piping, pump stations, and structural detailing.RequirementsPrevious design experience within mining industry with Advance SteelExperience with MicroStation V8iUnderstanding of P&ID, Orthographic and Isometric drawingsExperience working with point cloud using Autodesk Plant 3D and ReCap is an advantageA strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality of workA team playerStrong work ethic and aptitude to learnGood communication and interpersonal skillsCultureFyfe values our clients and our people and has a culture built on respect, integrity and the delivery of value.
