Senior Designer

Fyfe is a multi-disciplinary consultancy providing comprehensive engineering, environmental, planning and surveying services throughout Australia. Fyfe work with a wide range of clients in the Property & Infrastructure and Energy & Resources sectors to provide high quality, commercially pragmatic solutions with a strong focus on client service and delivery.

We are currently looking for a Senior Designer, or a desire to move into a senior role, to join our team to work on project portfolios across the energy and resources sectors. This role will be based in our Adelaide, and you will work in a team of experienced designers supporting the business and delivering on a range of projects.

This is a senior position that requires an energetic team player who can lead projects, consult with clients, and mentor junior team members.

You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and project managers, to ensure projects are delivered on time and exceed client expectations.

In this role you will be part of a design office responsible for delivering a wide range of projects using 2D and 3D software packages. You will have strong communication skills, evidence of design experience within mining industry and be adaptable to a fast-paced engineering office environment. Projects includes piping, pump stations, and structural detailing.

• Previous design experience within mining industry with Advance Steel
• Experience with MicroStation V8i
• Understanding of P&ID, Orthographic and Isometric drawings
• Experience working with point cloud using Autodesk Plant 3D and ReCap is an advantage
• A strong commitment to client satisfaction and quality of work
• A team player
• Strong work ethic and aptitude to learn
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
