Senior Civil Engineers play a pivotal role in leading multidisciplinary teams to execute Land Development projects from conception to completion.
Job Description:
The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing project planning and design, including roads, utility supply systems, stormwater management, and site development. This involves preparing and reviewing detailed engineering designs, drawings, and specifications, as well as managing and coordinating a team of engineers and CAD technicians.
The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting site investigations, feasibility studies, and environmental assessments. Additionally, they should be skilled in project management, with the ability to oversee timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Professional Engineer (NC and/or SC) license required.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Minimum 8-10 years of experience in civil engineering, with at least 3-5 years in a project manager lead role.
Proficiency in civil engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil-3D, or similar.
Strong understanding of hydrology, geotechnical principles, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
