Real Estate Lawyer - Solar Projects

The role of Real Estate Lawyer in solar projects involves overseeing all legal aspects of real estate transactions. This includes land acquisitions, leasing, title review, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate, draft, and review real estate agreements, including leases, purchase agreements, easements, rights-of-way, and title curative documents.
  • Conduct and oversee title, survey, and environmental reviews to identify and resolve potential land-use issues.
  • Work closely with landowners, developers, and third-party consultants to ensure smooth transactions.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed attorney in good standing.
  • 5+ years of legal experience in real estate law, with a preference for experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or utilities.
Requirements:
  • Strong expertise in commercial real estate transactions, land use law, title review, and permitting.
  • Experience negotiating with landowners, developers, and governmental agencies.
  • Familiarity with NEPA, CEQA, and other environmental laws impacting solar development is a plus.
