As the Program Director in the Technology Service Delivery Portfolio, you will be expected to lead and manage multiple aligned programs, to achieve the targeted outcomes and benefits.
You will report to the Head of Transformation - Technology Service Delivery (the Portfolio Lead) and will be responsible for delivering the assigned program outcomes for the organisation.
You will apply standard industry and best practice project and program management approaches, in line with corporate governance.
You will be accountable for overseeing multiple programs and projects to the full program life cycle, supporting your teams to design the outcomes, plan progressive delivery of the required capabilities and embedding the outcomes.
You will be accountable to the Portfolio Board and have overall and ongoing responsibility for the successful day-to-day leadership of the Programs in support of the Portfolio Lead.
You will support the Program Managers to establish and maintain high-performing and accountable program teams; and continue to deliver a record of safety, environmental, WHS, risk and compliance excellence.
All candidates must; Be an Australian Citizen Be able to achieve and maintain an Australian Government National Security Clearance as the required level.
Have run large, mission critical programs in the 100's of millions in value Position Specific Lead a team to define and manage integrated Program delivery plans including, but not limited to, benefits maps, benefits profiles, strategies, risk, issues and opportunities, delivery plans, benefits realisations plans, stakeholder engagement and communications plan, and assurance plans.
Oversee the maintenance of the integrated Program delivery plans and baseline, monitor actual progress and cost to date and forecast progress and expenditure in future tranches.
In concert with the Portfolio Lead, shape the project needs of the program and secure appropriate capability to deliver.
Drive overall performance of the Program, and subordinate projects, including monitoring and reporting of stakeholder management, risk and issue management and benefits realisation.
Promote a learning organisation through the ongoing continuous improvement and education of key stakeholders.
Manage the Program within assigned delegations and agreed quality and risk parameters.
Oversee and manage Program budget and performance targets, including the promotion of an efficient and cost-conscious culture across the Portfolio.
People Leadership Lead, coach, develop, and retain a high-performance team with an emphasis on creating an accountable performance culture.
Maintain high-quality and productive relationship with leadership to ensure effective co-ordination of all activities in support of organisational objectives.
Provide strategic guidance, plan and build organisational capacity and resourcing of the branch.
Compliance, Systems and Reporting Drive implementation of enterprise governance systems and policies, including safety, environmental, WHS, risk and compliance.
Safety Demonstrate safety leadership and behaviours consistent with enterprise strategies, and manage the branch in accordance with WHS accountability requirements.

Proven experience in driving, delivering and sustaining a large-scale, complex Program to achieve outcomes in a complex environment.
Demonstrated sound judgement and business acumen, with a focus on results in a service delivery environment.
Demonstrated values-based leadership, and ability to build organisational capability and culture.
Demonstrated ability to develop and present innovative solutions and influence outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strategic relationships to facilitate partnerships and cooperation.
Demonstrable experience in leading and managing geographically diverse program teams.
Minimum 15 years experience in: leading large diverse teams in a mission critical delivery environment, managing contractors and delivery partners to achieve program outcomes.
