**About the role**:
As the Social Media Lead at Mamamia, you'll be at the forefront of our social media strategy, working closely with our experienced and collaborative team. You'll have the opportunity to shape our brand's presence across various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, and drive audience growth in exciting and innovative ways.
Your expertise in digital publishing, combined with your keen news sense, will be instrumental in expanding our audience reach and enhancing brand awareness.
By leveraging your skills in social media management, content creation, and analytics, you will contribute to the success and growth of our organisation.
- Develop and execute a data and insight led comprehensive social media strategy with a focus on growing audience across all social media platforms with a specific focus on Instagram and TikTok.
- Lead a team to create high performing daily content that is optimised for search engines, builds communities and boosts engagement.
- Grow podcast audience across downloads and uniques
- Social video strategy and ensure regular and consistent output of content across all social media channels (TikTok, Instagram, Youtube) that will grow audience across a broad range of demographics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, product and marketing, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and consistency across all social media channels.
- Monitor industry trends and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in social media and analyse data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, track audience growth, and identify opportunities for improvement.
**About you**
- Experience in a similar role, preferably for a digital publisher
- Strong understanding of digital publishing principles, content optimisation and platform-specific best practices
- Experience in leading and managing a social media team, ability to delegate tasks, monitor performance and drive team success
- Proficiency in copywriting, visual content creation, and storytelling
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative social media strategies aligned with business goals, target audience interests, and industry trends.
