**About the role**

The **Kiln Production Operator **is a** Full-time **position, based at **Wantirna South, Victoria** Reporting to the** Production Manager** you'll be responsible for operating the kiln to ensure material is produced to the commercial standard.

In this role you will**:

- Monitor all the burners of the kiln (Approx 60-70 Burners)
- Assist with the Dryer setup and process control.
- Move kiln cars - take in and take out for process.
- Basic maintenance including checking and filling sand levels.
- General housekeeping around the site.
- Demonstrate a good understanding of Kiln Log and communication book use.
- Demonstrate using E-Stop to shutdown Kiln and when to use this if required.
- Be involved in reducing risks/hazards and improving quality by involvement in the Safety/Environmental and Quality Management Plan.

This role is a night shift position working 6pm-6am on a rotating roster with other Operators.

A forklift licence is required to perform duties within the factory.
