About The Role

Our warehouse team needs a new Plant Operator to join our team in Truganina, Western Melbourne. As one of our Plant Operators you will be responsible for the safe operation and housekeeping of the seed treatment, coating, mixing and box packaging plants whilst ensuring quality is maintained at all times. This role will also involve tasks in the process room which involve the handling, labelling, and bagging of product as well as forklift driving.

Work Schedule & Benefits

Mon - Thurs from 07:00 - 15:30 and finish early Friday afternoon. Weekends / overtime available. No night shifts. Full training + seasonal incentive bonus + free parking + stable workforce + good work culture. Safe and clean warehouse with good managers.

We have a team of about 20 in our warehouse and we need someone like you to join us to operate the machines which process our seed. We treat our people well and we want to invest in training and developing all of our team members.

The Successful Applicant Will Have
  • Proven experience in machine operation and a general knowledge of plant maintenance / repairs
  • Current LF forklift license with up-to-date experience is essential, reach truck experience an added benefit but not essential
  • Previous seed handling experience is desirable but not essential
  • The ability to work with minimal supervision and in teams and be able to cope with seasonal demand
  • A certain level of physical fitness is required due to the demands of the role as some lifting is involved
