**What this opportunity involves**:
As the Retail Assistant Facilities Manager, you'll assist in the oversight of site budgets, finance, maintenance/operations, contract services, procurement and helpdesk across the WA & QLD portfolio of our client - Australia's largest telecommunications company.
**An Overview of the role**:
Proactively engage stakeholders to ensure onsite client expectations are met
Develop effective relationships across multiple organisational levels
Act as the key point of contact for the facility portfolio
Ensure vendors are well-managed, delivering timely services within budget
Conduct facilities inspections within the portfolio, performing audits and assessments
Plan and manage all contracts to ensure they are professionally delivered
Continually assess contracts to seek best value on behalf of the client
Monitor financial operations to ensure targets and control requirements are met
Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement best practice
Follow established escalation and incident reporting procedures

Qualifications or industry experience within facilities, building, property
Experienced working within critical environments
Knowledge of local OH&S requirements
Vendor management experience for specialised services
Understanding of basic technical aspects of property
Proven capacity to interpret commercial contracts and financial analysis skills
