Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Retail Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our retail assets. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities are well-maintained and that any issues are promptly addressed.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance Scheduling: Coordinate with contractors to schedule regular maintenance tasks, including repairs and replacements.
  • Incident Reporting: Promptly report any incidents or issues to the Centre/Property Manager or Associate Director of Engineering, Operations & Sustainability SA.
  • Contractor Management: Manage contractor performance, ensuring that work is completed to a high standard and within budget.
  • Asset Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of retail assets, including equipment and infrastructure.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting on maintenance activities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of building management systems and integrated systems such as HVAC, Fire, Lifts, plumbing and lighting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with contractors and other stakeholders.
  • A reasonable level of computer literacy, with the ability to expand these skills as necessary.
