**The details**:

- Permanent Full Time | 9 day fortnight
- $66,066 to $67,642 pa (includes industry allowance and uniform allowance) + 12% super (level 2 to 3)
- 76 hour fortnight
- Location: Woodford Depot

Join our **Roads and Drains** team as a Labourer and play a vital role in maintaining our community's **civil and transport infrastructure**. Working closely with a crew leader, you'll be at the forefront of **operational maintenance** of Council's valuable assets. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure your designated area remains safe, tidy, and defect-free. Some of the tasks include:

- installing and replacing road signs
- pathways, kerb and channel repairs
- replacing manholes
- conducting fence repairs
- replacing lintels and grates
- repairing headwalls
- clearing open drains
- fixing traffic island defects.

Your work will directly contribute to the upkeep of our civil and transport infrastructure, making a tangible difference in our community's safety and appearance. **About you**

Ideally you will have recent experience performing labouring tasks related to maintaining infrastructure similar to what is listed above. We are seeking applicants who demonstrate:

- knowledge and physical capability to perform manual tasks safely
- recent experience in a manual position
- experience maintaining similar infrastructure/performing similar tasks (desirable)
- excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- a current C class drivers licence (Level 2) OR a current truck licence (minimum MR - medium rigid) (Level 3)
- a Construction Induction Card.
