About the role

We are seeking a motivated Plumbing Apprentice or Labourer to join our team at Delforce Drainage and Excavation. This is a full-time position with opportunities to learn and grow within a thriving trades and services environment. Based in Kilsyth VIC, but travelling all over the state, the successful candidate will be comfortable living away from home for prolonged periods. Currently looking to expand the team on our Warrnambool job over the next 4 months. Will consider short term contracts for labourers in the Warrnambool area.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting experienced plumbers with a variety of plumbing installations, drainage & earthworks
• Developing skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and off-site coursework (if choosing an apprenticeship)
• Opportunity to operate machines and learn skills from our most experience operator
• Providing excellent customer service to our residential and commercial clients

What we're looking for

• Strong interest and enthusiasm for a career in plumbing
• Willingness to work away from home for prolonged periods
• Solid communication and strong customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, able to follow instructions and contribute positively to the team
• Reliable, punctual and a positive attitude
• MUST have driver's license and reliable vehicle
• MUST have right to work in Australia

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 – $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
