OverviewDue to continued growth, we have an exciting new opportunity to join our Workers Compensation team as a Client Manager in our Sydney office.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about workers compensation and advocating for our clients in the complex workers compensation landscape.
This role will suit a confident Case Manager / Senior Case Manager with Workers Compensation experience looking to take the next step in their career.If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you
Main objectivesManagement of the client's workers compensation program, including strategic claims and return to work advice and locating resources to address injury trends / legislative requirementsImplementing ongoing management agreements which are structured to meet the client's changing needs and GSA workloadRenewing or amending existing policies, including premium projections based on the impact of claimsPrepare detailed renewal and new business reports for all clientsSupporting our dedicated RTW Coordinator as/when requiredGather underwriting information and understand risk profile and foresee clients' insurance needsOrganise and attend renewal and new business meetings with your direct manager and understand the specific insurance requirements for the clientsBuilding and maintaining positive ongoing relationships with clients and underwritersAdvising clients on significant risks and recommended areas of improvementMarketing and New Business Development activities in order to develop the client portfolioProvide a high level of customer service and advice to all clients across the portfolioMaintain regular contact with the clients throughout the year and provide advice and support where necessaryStaying abreast of changes within the insurance market and clients' industry sectorsEducation & QualificationA University degree or equivalent education is highly regardedNSW Workers Compensation Return to Work Coordinator Certification preferredTier 1 Compliance preferred but not essentialKnowledge & ExperienceAt least 1.5 years experience in front end workers compensation claims managementStrong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsThe ability to build and develop relationships and liaise with clients at all levelsCustomer service skills and business acumenThe ability to manage your time and work on a number of projects concurrentlyStrong analytical skillsThe ability to work well in a team environmentAn understanding of client confidentialityAdministrative and IT skills, Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPointAccount management skillsSelf-motivated with personal drive and ambitionExcellent attention to detail and organisational skillsEmployee Benefits at GSAYou will become part of GSA\'s energetic, determined and vibrant culture.
