Australia Abergeldie Complex Infrastructure Full time

**About the opportunity**
We're looking for a commercially minded professional to step into a key contracts role supporting two major infrastructure projects on the NSW Central Coast. This role would suit an experienced Contracts Manager ready for a new challenge or someone with a legal background looking to step into the world of construction and project delivery.

This is a rare opportunity to work locally on projects without the need to commute to Sydney or relocate. You'll be part of a hands-on commercial team managing all aspects of contract management across both a live delivery environment and the establishment of a new project. A core focus of the role is drafting and managing contract notices. You'll need to be confident interpreting contracts, identifying key triggers, and preparing timely, accurate and compliant correspondence that supports project success.

Day to day you'll work closely with project teams and senior stakeholders to negotiate subcontracts, manage the head contract and subcontracts contracts end to end, including notices, risk management, variations, claims and commercial strategy. It's a hands-on role where you'll help drive strong commercial outcomes.

**What You'll Bring**
- A solid understanding of contracts and commercial principles (either from legal training or project-based contract management).
- Sharp drafting skills, particularly for notices and contractual correspondence.
- A practical, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to manage complexity.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

**Why Abergeldie?**
We're a majority locally owned contractor with over 30 years' experience delivering the infrastructure that builds better communities.

Our people are what make Abergeldie successful, and we make sure this is the kind of place where great people enjoy working for the long term. We offer flexibility, genuine career development and the Abergeldie Bonus Scheme, where all eligible employees share in the success of the projects they help to deliver.

**Interested?**
If this sounds like you then **APPLY NOW** or reach out to Aditi Sahni for more information
