About the Role:
Emmanuel College is seeking a skilled professional to serve as Director of Pastoral Care for students in Years 3-6. This leadership role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual with expertise in student wellbeing, behaviour management, and Christian education.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the holistic wellbeing strategy for students and staff in the Junior School
Foster a culture of care and connection among students, teachers, and families
Oversee pastoral programs aligned with the College's values and support staff in effective student management
Respond to wellbeing concerns with compassion and insight
Requirements:
Be a registered teacher in Queensland
Have a breadth of experience in primary schools
Have a high level of knowledge relating to legislative requirements around Child Safety and Wellbeing
Demonstrate excellence and experience in pastoral care and leadership
