About the Role:

Emmanuel College is seeking a skilled professional to serve as Director of Pastoral Care for students in Years 3-6. This leadership role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual with expertise in student wellbeing, behaviour management, and Christian education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the holistic wellbeing strategy for students and staff in the Junior School
  • Foster a culture of care and connection among students, teachers, and families
  • Oversee pastoral programs aligned with the College's values and support staff in effective student management
  • Respond to wellbeing concerns with compassion and insight

Requirements:

  • Be a registered teacher in Queensland
  • Have a breadth of experience in primary schools
  • Have a high level of knowledge relating to legislative requirements around Child Safety and Wellbeing
  • Demonstrate excellence and experience in pastoral care and leadership
