**Role Description/Criteria**

The role of Learning Diversity is one of leadership, witness, guidance and service and is encompassed in a demonstrated commitment to uphold and respect the worth, dignity and contribution of all members of our Catholic school community. It is a role underpinned by a strong support for all staff members and children with extra needs, thus enabling the realisation of the school's potential through it's vision and mission.

The role of Learning Diversity Leader is multifaceted and requires highly developed interpersonal, communication, organisational skills, highly developed writing skills, personnel management, policy development and implementation, student and staff wellbeing, financial planning and administration skills in a Catholic school setting.

While the current role excludes regular classroom duties and responsibilities, a willingness to assume and commit to some level of teaching and classroom involvement will be necessary in order to respond fully to the needs of the students and staff.

**Special Requirements**:
accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school or display a willingness to undertake this qualification

hold current VIT registration

proof of personal identity and any professional or other qualifications.
