About This JobPenola Catholic College is a Catholic, co-educational regional Secondary College in the Josephite tradition. Established in 1995 and set on 27 acres over two campuses, it serves the North - Western region of Melbourne.
This is a full-time fixed term role for 2026 Semester 1 with a Position of Leadership (POL)3 and will commence at the start of 2026.
There are three Learning Diversity Leaders – one for Years 7 to 8, Years 9 to 10 and Years 11 to 12. It is expected that the Learning Diversity Leaders will collaborate to ensure consistency in Learning Diversity at the College.
The Learning Diversity Leader supports students who require an altered learning program or who are funded to receive support for their individual needs.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the other Learning Diversity Leaders to ensure consistency in Learning Diversity at the College.
- Support students who require an altered learning program or who are funded to receive support for their individual needs.
To be successful you will be able to demonstrate and model contemporary teaching practice: understanding how students 'learn best' and have a demonstrated knowledge of the Australian curriculum frameworks. You will also be registered or have the ability to be registered with VIT.
You will also have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children.
