Smart Energy is a fast growing solar and battery retailer with 12 National Offices, 2 International Offices and more plans of expansion ahead. We live and breathe renewable energy and are excited about the future of renewables and the part we can play in combating climate change.

We specialise in residential and commercial solar and battery installations and are looking to further grow our brand and tap into missed sale opportunities by employing a part-time/ full-time, permanent Digital/Database Marketer. This position will play a pivotal role in expanding our online presence, growing the business and becoming the future one stop shop for energy products in Australia and beyond.
**About The Role**

We are looking for a Junior Digital/Database Marketer who is skilled across a variety of different platforms and software. Ideally, an individual committed to a long-term position, dedicated to investing their full potential into both the role and the growth of the business. This role will report directly to the one of the Joint Managing Directors.

**The successful applicant will be responsible for**:

- Mailchimp
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Ortto
- Managing the CRM
- FB and Google Ads

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Engage our existing customer database to offer new energy products - EV chargers, VPP energy plans, batteries and HVAC products.
- Create SEO and Digital Ads strategy to generate leads for new energy products and increase brand presence.
- Write customer value content for EDM campaigns to our existing customer database, ensuring we stay top of mind for our customers.
- Develop and execute strategies to drive increased conversion in our existing outbound channels through nurturing communication.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve retention for our already converted customers from our existing outbound channels.
- Assist our Analysts and Sales Managers with improving the visibility and key metrics for our inbound sales process.
- Stay up to date with market developments in new energy products with the goal to drive customer uptake with timely and well executed sales campaigns.

**About you**:

- Live near our Byron Bay Headquarters - ideally Northern Rivers, Gold coast or Tweed Heads.
- Analyse data and performance metrics to make data-driven decisions and optimise marketing efforts.
- Be able to work efficiently unsupervised and meet KPIs.
- Invest in the company culture and its core values.
- Manage leads and CRM.
- Creative mindset and ability to think outside the box to develop unique marketing ideas.
- Previous experience in copy writing or communications desirable
- Understand sales funnels and nurture clients.
- Digital Marketing qualifications desirable (but not essential)
- Be a fun, energetic type of person.
