About the Role:Sydney - Lumia Care is seeking experienced Support Workers to join our team and deliver high-quality, individualised care to clients in the Campbelltown area.
You will be matched with clients based on your qualifications, experience, and care compatibility.
Services are provided across SIL houses, Day Program and Community setting.
Our clients present with a range of physical, intellectual, and psychosocial support needs including: Intellectual Disability CPTSD, Borderline Personality Disorder, Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) Anxiety, Depression, Suicidal Ideation Asthma and other physical health complexities Role Type:CasualSupport Services may include (but not limited to): High personal care and hygiene support High manual handling tasks (transfers, mobility assistance) Community access: social activities, appointments, shopping, groceries Behavioral, emotional and social support Domestic assistance (cleaning, meal prep, etc.) What We're Looking For: Experience supporting clients with complex psychosocial and physical needs Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, Mental Health, or equivalent is a must Strong communication and behavior support skills Empathetic, reliable, and calm under pressure Manual handling training and personal care experience (essential) Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, overnights, and public holidays Mandatory Requirements: Current First Aid Certificate Valid Police Check NDIS Worker Screening Check Working with Children Check Full Australian Work Rights Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
