Brisbane Racing Club (BRC) Limited is the premier thoroughbred racing venue in Queensland. As the leading metropolitan race club in Queensland, the Brisbane Racing Club has over 70 race meetings and will host over 200,000 patrons throughout the next season. Race meetings are conducted at the club's two racetracks, Eagle Farm and Doomben racecourses.

We are seeking to hire a pool of casual Ticketing Officers to join our Team, based at Eagle Farm race track. The Ticketing Officer will be required to conversate both face to face and over the phone with patrons and discuss all the various functions and areas available each Race Day.

**The role**
- Receiving calls from ticket purchasers and recommending suitable ticketing options to meet customer needs.
- Talking customers through the online booking process.
- Data entry - Creating and updating patron records.
- Distributing tickets and responsible for ensuring access control into course.
- Processing customer payments.
- Managing ticket inventory.
- Assisting the sales/sponsorship teams with other administrative duties as required (setting up promotional codes, etc )
- Providing a high standard of customer service that meets and exceeds the clients' expectations.
- Set up packages to go on sale through the ticketing system.

**A little about you**

To be successful in this role you will be confident and have clear communication skills, present yourself professionally and handle a busy environment whilst updating multiple documents and programs throughout our internal computer systems. Not to mention, you must be available for Saturday Race Days between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm.
