In support of this newly awarded contract, Ventia are seeking a Firefighter to join their Fire and Rescue operations at the Army Aviation Centre in Oakey, QLD.
**About the role**
- This exciting position will see you work as part of a team of Firefighters who will be responsible for responding to incidents including airfield, structural and bushfire management. **You will perform duties as directed by the Station & Sub Station Officers including but not limited to**:

- Maintaining operational readiness in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Ensuring that all relevant administrative duties associated with operational duties are performed.
- Complying with operational health and safety requirements.

**The position will require the successful applicant to work on an early/ late roster cycle**:

- Early roster, Monday to Friday, 0700 - 1400.
Late roster, Monday to Friday, 1400 - 2330.
**Special conditions**:
Eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to a level of negative vetting 1 (secret). As a result of this requirement the incumbent must be an Australian Citizen
Australian Federal Police check.
Ability to successfully pass an ARRFF pre-employment medical.
