Cross River Rail will transform the way we travel to, from and through Brisbane in the future. It will be a catalyst for 10 years of wider rail transformation across the whole of South East Queensland and it is already playing a key role in how we prepare for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Cross River Rail is a new 10.2km rail line including 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD. It includes the delivery of four new underground stations, two new above-ground stations, accessibility rebuilds for six stations, the construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast, and the introduction of a new world-class 'ETCS' signalling system.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on one of Australia's largest infrastructure projects and to be a part of something that will leave a lasting legacy for generations to come.
About the Role
The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager leads the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority's team of Finance Business Partners and is responsible for providing strategic and financial insights and overseeing budgeting and forecasting. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this position makes a key contribution to the financial performance of the Delivery Authority by working in partnership with senior stakeholders across the business to support management decision making. This opportunity is offered as a three year fixed term contract.

**Key Duties include**:

- Provide whole-of-project strategic advice to the Executive Leadership Team on financial and cost management matters.
- Lead and mentor Finance Business Partners
- Ensure the delivery of timely, accurate and insightful financial data.
- Oversee and manage reporting, forecasts and budgets.
- Lead and manage the continuous improvement of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cost management systems and processes.

About the Applicant
- Previous experience in senior finance roles in a commercial, project or similar environment.
- Proven leadership capability in a dynamic, fast paced environment with experience developing high performing teams.
- Experience providing complex financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Advanced analytical and problem solving skills.
- Proven success building and maintaining strong working relationship with senior leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar and completed CA/CPA qualifications.
