Wood is currently recruiting for a Construction Coordinator (Mechanical) to join the Perth or Darwin based Construction and Commissioning Engineering Team working on different projects at Pre-FEED, FEED and Execute phase. This is a permanent opportunity to start immediately.

Reporting to the Construction & Commissioning Engineer Lead, you will draw upon your technical knowledge and technical writing skills for FEED. In addition, to your problem-solving skills to develop and present engineering and implementation solutions for the projects.

Your responsibilities will be:

- Delivery of FEED deliverables associated with Construction activities
- Input into design and engineering to ensure Construction activities are optimized and the works scopes can be completed safely and efficiently
- Input into overall project estimate and schedule focusing on long lead items, early works, shutdown works
- Input into the preparation of the ITT Packages
- Identify and liaise with stakeholders and key interfaces
- Develop end of stage reports
- Manage and execute works on site to support FEED deliverables (e.g. survey / inspections)

**You will be an Australian citizen or hold Permanent Residency (PR) and able to work lawfully in Australia.**

Ideally you will be suitably qualified engineer' from a recognized institution or tertiary qualification will also be considered along with 8+ years of proven experience in the Oil & Gas sector in Australia working within multidiscipline fields.

In addition, you will have:

- A demonstrated commitment to safety
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills - both written and verbal
- Previous experience in a role of construction engineering and coordination working in a project multidisciplined team
- Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organize and manage large project scopes
- Strong technical expertise in piping, vessels and rotating equipment installation, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning
- Well-developed computer skills and knowledge of databases, spreadsheets, and engineering programs
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure, while delivering within a challenging and complex environment
- A "solutions mindset" embracing innovation and an agile approach to project delivery and team leadership
