The Role

We are seeking a Construction Coordinator to join our team. This role is a vital contributor to the smooth delivery of construction projects across the Lands. Working closely with the construction team, you will coordinate quotations, materials, and scheduling to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, accurately, and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and issue accurate client quotations, tenders, and variations.
  • Source and specify construction materials, obtaining supplier quotes.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and reconcile design/specification requirements.
  • Enter and manage job orders in the project management system.
  • Maintain project correspondence and administration records.
  • Assist with invoicing and cost tracking for completed works.
  • Support project planning and forecasting activities.
  • Maintain all data relating to projects.
  • Mentor and role model best practice across all team.
  • Liaise with WHS to maintain a safe working place.
About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • Strong knowledge of construction materials.
  • Residential and commercial construction administration experience.
  • Trade qualification or tertiary degree (Builders Registration preferred or in progress).
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and community wellbeing.
  • Previous experience in remote community development (desirable).
