Job Summary
Cyber Security Engineer Role
This position is ideal for professionals seeking to deepen their expertise in SIEM/SOAR platforms, Microsoft Defender solutions, cloud security, and OT/ICS environments.
We are looking for a skilled Cybersecurity Engineer with hands-on experience in security operations, threat detection, and incident response. This role involves leading investigations into security incidents, coordinating response efforts, and contributing to a high-performing security team.
Key Responsibilities:
Investigate security incidents, coordinate response efforts, and identify areas for improvement.
Develop, tune, and maintain detection rules within SIEM platforms to enhance threat visibility.
Design and implement automated workflows using SOAR tools to streamline incident response.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve threat detection and response times.
Support the integration and optimization of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud, Defender for IoT, and Sentinel.
Contribute to cloud security initiatives, including configuration reviews, logging, and compliance assessments.
Assist in securing OT/ICS environments through segmentation, monitoring, and protocol analysis.
Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, modeling, cyber security, anomaly detection, SOC detection, threat analytics, SIEM, IT operations, and incident response.
OR Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
Ability to meet Microsoft customer and/or government security screening requirements.
