Job Title: Cyber Security Professional

Job Description:

The role of the Cyber Security Professional is to provide expert advice and guidance on cyber security matters. This includes conducting risk assessments, implementing security protocols, and providing training and support to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct audits and risk assessments based on NIST standards
  • Support clients in using risk assessments and audits based on NIST or ISO 27001
  • Provide relevant cyber security, governance, compliance, and auditing services in the technical space
  • Manage high-level projects and engagements for delivery of services
  • Evaluate client compliance with regulations such as PCI DSS, APRA CPS234, and GDPR
  • Provide findings and recommendations to clients tracking progress towards compliance and resolutions
  • Identify up-sell opportunities with existing and potential clients

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of professional experience in cyber security, information security, or risk assessments
  • CISSP certification mandatory
  • Additional desired certifications include CISA, CISM, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or Internal Auditor
  • Highly desirable: Qualified Security Assessor (QSA)
