**Creative Lead - Art**

We are looking for an award winning and experienced creative leader to be a part of our in-house APAC Creative Team for one of the largest video-sharing platforms. We are part of brand marketing, and, as such, we have a seat at the table (or a square in a Meet window). We work closely with our client's marketing and product teams to find innovative and breakthrough creative solutions. Our goal is simple, to make work that is impossible to ignore.

Creative Studio is responsible for all consumer facing communications. This includes Localisation, Advertising, Evergreen content, Event, Interactive/Digital, Video & Motion Graphics, and Direct across product areas. The Creative Lead Art leads a talented team of writers, designers, motion, video and interactive creatives.

The Creative Lead - Art is an experienced creative problem solver who will take the lead in delivering innovative and compelling creative solutions that meet creative briefs. You'll be deeply engaged in the work, often hands-on, actively supporting the creatives to bring ideas to life when needed. You have a passion for shaping a brand's reputation through outstanding, world-class creativity. You bring optimism and energy to the team, and encourage a culture of curiosity and a can-do mindset.

You must demonstrate a strong track record of developing and managing teams of creatives, partnering closely with brand marketing professionals, and overseeing all aspects of the creative process from start to finish. Our ideal talent has an award-winning portfolio of varied work. You need to be confident in exploring the world of creativity today, a lover of the latest cultural phenoms, and someone who wants to challenge the status quo and invent new ways of thinking, working and making.

Role:

- Responsibilities include hands-on art direction, execution of integrated campaigns/projects, leading and inspiring a small but mighty creative team, external agencies, and production teams to deliver extraordinary work.
- Directly manage and lead a team of creatives across graphic design, copywriting, photography, motion/film, experiential, editorial and interactive disciplines.
- Develop quarterly and annual goals and strategic plans for the team. Implement necessary processes and resources to achieve goals.
- Partner with the Head of Creative on the client's end to ensure the brand's creative vision is consistent with their broader company vision and initiatives. Ensure that all client's creative work is supported and inspired.
- Partner with Strategy Lead, Operations Lead and Exec Producers to guide operations of the team, including planning, recruiting, and resourcing.
- Create a blueprint for the team's continued regional growth and recruit the best creatives and contract collaborators.
- Foster a respectful and collaborative environment. Mentor discipline leads on the team, ensuring alignment on all projects and both team and individual goals.

You:

- 12-15 years of experience managing a mid to large team, preferably from an agency experience and/or leading in-house teams at global brands.
- An award winning portfolio that highlights original breakthrough thinking and ideas
- Understand what it means to pay close attention to the details, they matter.
- Possess a highly strategic mindset, to connect with different groups across the organisation and identify marketing opportunities and translate them into exciting work
- A great partner and strong collaborator who can navigate a matrixed organisation with ease and build successful relationships with stakeholders
- Finger on the pulse of pop culture
- Excellent management skills. Experience inspiring creative teams with a strong vision and empowering individuals to achieve their best work.
- A strong design process and experience working toward solutions across various media.
- Flexible and dependable
- The incredible organisation, communication, prioritisation, and decision-making skills.
- Empathy for the users, and empathy for individuals on a creative team. Exceptional verbal and written English communications and presentation skills and - ideally - fluent in another Asian language to cover projects spanning key regional markets (India, Japan, Korea, Indonesia).
