The Role
We're on the lookout for an ambitious, curious, and culture-led Creative Lead to help supercharge Thrive's creative delivery and set a new standard in comms agency thinking. You'll guide bold, earned-first ideas across our consumer and corporate client portfolio - spanning culture, lifestyle, and business - and cement Thrive's reputation as the go-to for impactful, newsworthy creative 360 communications.
From social-first content and talent programs to activations, proactive cultural storytelling and b2b staying power, you'll lead the way with concepts that place our clients squarely at the heart of conversation.
What you'll do
- Champion and drive original, earned-led ideas with a news lens, shaping campaigns that get diverse audiences talking
- Drive AI and technology adoption in the creative space to push new boundaries of creativity ~ think progressively with AI as a collaboration tool
- Position Thrive as a creative thought leader in comms, social, content, and integrated earned-first storytelling
- Inspire and mentor a growing team of talented creators, strategists, and comms consultants
- Collaborate seamlessly with account leads, production and studio teams to turn big ideas into brilliant executions
- Ideate, ideate, ideate…no idea is a bad idea
- Develop ideas that live across social, digital, content, activations and experiences for B2B and B2C
- Equally passionate about B2C and B2B, with a mindset for earned-first creativity no matter the audience
- Build trusted relationships with clients, creative partners, talent and media — relationships in, ego out
- Keep a sharp eye on cultural shifts, new technologies and creative tools to ensure our work stays fresh and relevant
- Present, sell, and land creative ideas with confidence and clarity, inspiring both clients and teams ~ make your presence felt
- Work on local and global brands with a strong understanding of how to flex ideas across markets
- Support the leadership team in new business pitches and agency profile-raising initiatives
What you'll bring
- Proven experience leading creative thinking in an agency or brand environment
- A background in comms agency, content, or integrated creative environments both B2B & B2C with a portfolio of earned-led, social-first and activation ideas
- Deep cultural curiosity and knowledge of what makes audiences engage and share
- Confidence working with production, studio and digital teams to bring ideas to life
- Outstanding presentation skills and an ability to pitch and sell ideas with passion
- Strong relationships in the industry and a collaborative approach
- Experience working on global or nationally significant brands
- An eye for what's next - from emerging creative tools to tech trends that can amplify earned campaigns
- Leadership skills that empower, uplift, and energise the team
