A full-time permanent position has become available in the Corporate Communications team at AGL. As the Corporate Communications Manager, you will support with the execution of the AGL's communications strategy and content pillars.
What you'll be doing
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, you will:
- Write corporate communications for internal, social and digital channels, including leadership communications, employee news stories, social media posts, briefing notes, speaker notes, presentations bios, boilerplates and templates
- Develop and execute communication plans to support key business initiatives and companywide announcements
- Provide business leaders with advice and support to improve communication outcomes
- Provide advice to stakeholders on external speaking engagements, thought leadership opportunities and case studies, including managing approvals
- Work proactively to identify communication gaps and deliver high quality solutions and improvements
- Provide support with large scale employee events as required, including employee town halls and financial results announcements
- Ensure consistency of messaging across all channels
About You
What you'll bring to the table
- Demonstrated experience in a similar corporate communications position, with exceptional writing skills
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills
- Experience developing and implementing internal and external communications strategies
- Experience developing communication materials for a diverse audience
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with a diverse range of people
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and effectively manage time and prioritise workload
- Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field
