We are currently recruiting for an experienced **Completions Manager **to join us on our Melbourne based Rail Network Alliance Project.

**About the opportunity**:
As the Completions Manager on this high-profile project, you will establish and maintain procedures, be responsible for implementing the existing Project Wide Completions Management Plan and have overall responsibility for the completion and handover of assets Program to provide a seamless transition from completion of works on site to transfer of assets into a safe operational state within the Rail Network.

Travel to site office may be a requirement of this position.

**Some of the things you will be doing**:

- Support the Projects Quality and Completions Manager to ensure that each Project Stage achieves Handover of the Works, Practical Completion and Final Completion.
- Maintain, manage, and implement the existing Completions strategy and the Completion and Handover Management Plan on the Project to ensure deliverables are achieved in accordance with the Contract Client Requirements.
- Maintain and implement completion management tools and reporting processes to systematically capture data and records required for successful completion to provide visibility of completions progress throughout the Project works.
- Provide support and guidance to key stakeholders on their responsibilities within the completions processes and the timely provision of required completions documentation
- Provide oversight of all Handover and Completion activities, responsible for the program of handover and completion processes including timely delivery and quality outputs.
- Provide strong stakeholder engagement and consultation for all completion deliverables
- Lead and manage a team of completion professionals to facilitate the implementation and management of defects inspections, as built drawings, completion activities, and asset handover across the program of works leading up to handover and practical completion till the end of defects correction period

**You are**:

- Someone who has a relevant tertiary qualification
- Someone who can communicate with confidence and someone who wants to learn
- Rail project experience is highly recommended
- Ability to manage a large diverse team of completion professionals
- A great attitude and wants to make their mark on our state rail network
- Previous major project completions experience will be highly regarded
- The ability to analyse and problem solve with a solution focus.
- Proficient in Microsoft word and excel
