**What's the role?**
This is a full time, permanent position based out of our Surry Hills, Sydney office.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Create unique and engaging news stories and features
+ Work under deadlines to produce accurate and engaging coverage of major court cases in NSW
+ Contribute to and help maintain detailed calendar of upcoming court cases in NSW
+ Contribute to a multimedia newsroom serving one of Australia's largest masthead across digital and print platforms
+ Some weekend work and intra-state travel may be required
**Who are you?**
+ At least 1 year of court reporting experience for print and online
+ A solid understanding of news writing, journalistic ethics and media law
+ High levels of personal organisation and time management
+ Flexibility around working days and hours
+ Must have personal driver's licence
