**About the Opportunity**

It's an exciting time to join the People and Culture (P&C) function at NESA. In addition to enhancing delivery of core operational services and pursuing new enabling technology solutions, the P&C team is responsible for designing and delivering an exciting agenda of strategic people priorities and programs.

Reporting to the Employee & Industrial Relations Lead within a newly created ER/IR team, this role is key in delivering consistent, high-quality employee and industrial relations advice and services to leaders and teams, including supporting and advising the People Partnering team in crafting and implementing effective business solutions.

As an Adviser in the ER/IR team, you will assist with industrial instrument and policy negotiation, play a role in industrial stakeholder management, dispute resolution and entitlement determination. Your work will include providing tactical and operational advice on employee and industrial relations issues and engaging with stakeholders to deliver accurate, relevant, and timely advice to support planning and decision making.

**About you**

If you are an experienced Employee or Industrial Relations professional, or a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner eager to develop and transition into Industrial Relations, you will thrive in this dynamic and evolving role.

You have a deep understanding of industrial and policy frameworks and experience in the NSW government sector or equivalent. Your strategic mindsight and collaborative approach enable you to drive positive outcomes in diverse workplace environments. You are experienced in navigating complex ER/IR issues and possess excellent communication skills.

**Essential Requirements**
- formal qualifications in Industrial Relations and/or relevant industry experience
- demonstrated experience in successfully developing and maintaining positive relationships with stakeholders
