The Desktop Administrator's main role is to ensure smooth day to day functionality in all areas I.T related; ensuring all users have the correct hardware/software needed to complete their job function. Swift problem resolution is major part of the Desktop Administrators role, working with all levels of Support globally when the need arises. The position will support the activities of the corporate desktop support team, including response to trouble tickets; configuring, testing, and installing new PCs; and upgrading, diagnosing and repairing installed PC systems.

**Want to know a little more about the role? Day-today responsibilities include**:

- Installation and support of specific drilling software- Resolution of Field based/off network computer issues- Simultaneous support over multiple sites sometimes requiring travel- Respond to client related incidents and requests within established time limits and service levels- Support Microsoft Windows PCs including clients running both current and recent versions of the Windows OS- Support of MS Office suite apps including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint- Support with Cybersecurity ideology in the client environment using tools such as 2FA, Antivirus, Antimalware, least privilege permissions.- Support mobile devices on Android, iOS and Windows- Coordinate/provide input to technical team and aid in bringing the best practice solutions- Document business processes, configurations, and other associated functional specifications- Support internal customers on issue resolution, requirements gathering, strategic initiatives, etc.- Work and communicate effectively with the regional and global IT teams**A few other things we're looking for**:

- Bachelor's degree or corresponding work experience- Minimum of 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Systems- Microsoft skills including; Remote Desktop, Active Directory, Windows OS and Microsoft 365- PC Administration skills including: Asset Management, OS deployment via imaging technologies, PC hardware troubleshooting- Familiarity with WAN/VPN connectivity and troubleshooting- Proactive approach to problem identification/rectification- Customer focused and approachable to all levels of the business-
