We're on the lookout for an Employee Relations Specialist to join our Community Services People & Capability (P&C) team, based in Sydney, Melbourne, or Adelaide. In this role, you'll support operational leaders and HR colleagues in a fast-paced, multi-site environment to manage and resolve complex employee relations matters.

You'll play a vital role in ensuring employment policies and procedures are followed, support enterprise agreement negotiations, and provide expert advice across all aspects of employment and industrial relations. This is your chance to influence workplace culture and drive best practices in employee relations.

As an Employee Relations Specialist in the Community Services team, you'll make a positive impact by:

- Providing timely and expert advice on employee and industrial relations matters
- Managing complex grievance and disciplinary investigations to ensure compliance
- Supporting enterprise agreement negotiations and governance processes
- Representing Serco in employment-related tribunals and mediations
- Collaborating with P&C and operational leaders across sites and contracts
- Monitoring ER/IR activities and reporting via ER trackers and business updates

Your ideal skills & experience:

- Extensive experience in employment/industrial relations in a multi-site or complex environment
- Practical experience with award/agreement interpretation and negotiation
- Knowledge of the Federal Industrial Relations framework and Fair Work legislation
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to manage sensitive issues with confidentiality and professionalism
- A tertiary qualification in HR, IR or a related field
