Specialist medical practice in Western Sydney (Penrith area) offering wide range of neurology services. We are looking for **part-time casual staff** working 7-14 hours per week. **No WEEKEND WORK**. **TRAINING WILL BE PROVIDED**. Typing skills ( Clinical letters) are desirable. Previous medical secretarial work is preferable. Opportunity to extend. working hours depending on the performance.

**Qualifications & experience**
- Previous experience in similar role is desirable.
- Willingness to learn and ability to work as a team.
- Previous experience with medical practice software would be desirable not necessary( Bluechip, Genie, Shexie etc) highly desirable.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- Provide secretarial support to a specialist practice
- Book patient appointments & attend phone calls
- Process clinic billing through practice software.
- Occasional typing of clinical letters. Maintaining filing system including 'paperless system' for the patient records
- Handling cash/Eftpos/Credit card transactions
- Prepare clinic rooms & other general administrative work

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.50 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
