Your Role
You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and undertaking the following key tasks:

- Undertake operational duties to ensure the TRACER team meet the high daily workload required to support Queensland state schools.
- Act as a decision maker and an escalation point for TRACER operators to manage and resolve second level enquiries through to a satisfactory resolution.
- Assist the supervisor in leading the day to day operations of the TRACER unit to ensure professional delivery of services in a high-volume environment.
- Regularly supervise TRACER operators during non-peak shifts and/or in the absence of the TRACER supervisor.
- Liaise with TRACER clients including school staff, replacement teachers and departmental staff to provide advice, explain and resolve issues and promote the operation of TRACER.
- Assist the supervisor to undertake training of TRACER operators and school users in the use of the recruitment system.
- Contribute to short
- and long-term planning of the TRACER unit and support the supervisor to promote a high level of professionalism in dealing with clients.
- Contribute positively to regular review of systems, policy and procedures and support continuous improvement.
- Provide advice to senior People Branch staff on issues impacting service delivery and the functions of HR Services.
- Provide efficient, effective and confidential human resource services and administrative support to the branch, clients and applicants for TRACER employment.
- Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate.
