Position Overview

The Corporate Services Support Officer is responsible for the delivery of high-quality customer service across the

functions of property, procurement, risk and safety management, corporate governance and information

services.

This position supports the Manager Corporate Services via the provision of administrative and operational support
across the Corporate Services team and will assist with financial processes, records management, customer

service, and compliance-related tasks of Corporate Services functions. Additionally, the Corporate Services

Support Officer plays a key role in ensuring effective communication between departments and external

stakeholders, contributing to overall efficiency and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

**Department Administration Support**
- Provide a range of quality administrative support services to enable the continuity of daily operation and

service delivery across all areas of the Corporate Services team in accordance with legislation and best

practice.
- Contribute to the provision of a central point for the delivery of objective, professional advice and

assistance to customers/stakeholders, including sporting and community groups, commercial users and

partner service providers in matters relating to property agreements and associated responsibilities.
- Contribute to the implementation of mechanisms to coordinate the efforts of internal stakeholders across

multiple Council Departments within the asset management and property management lifecycles to

optimise service delivery and community outcomes.
- Work with the Manager Corporate Services and the Property Lead to coordinate administrative activity

associated with the preparation, monitoring, negotiation and renewal of leases, licences, permits,

authorisations, caretaker arrangements and management agreements on Community Land or Council

property and other real property transactions for Council's property portfolio.
- Facilitate financial transactions and processes associated with the administration of fees and charges

relating to property and facility usage.
- Facilitate administrative processes to permanently open or close a public road in compliance with Local

Government legislation.
- Undertake the centralised administration of general online induction records for Council contractors.
- Support the Risk and Safety team to generate better outcomes, achieve objectives and improve

performance through the implementation, re-development, improvement, ongoing maintenance and

reporting of enterprise-wide risk.

information in accordance with relevant legislation, policy and process in order to contribute towards high
