Accounts Receivable Manager

Our client is a passionate Melbourne based independent media agency. They believe in delivering the highest level of communications service to business partners from around the globe.

Reporting to the management team and the Finance & Operations Manager, the Accounts Receivable Manager will be required to work 3 days per week on a permanent part-time basis.
This role requires someone who can work autonomously, provide clear and concise communication to key stakeholders including external accountants, and take ownership of the AR component of this successful business.
**RESPONSIBILITES**:
- Receipt incoming funds including credit card payments;
- Manage all invoicing and debt collection;
- Match high volume of supplier invoices each month;
- Process new customer accounts including performing credit checks;
- Produce customer statements and maintain the AR Inbox
- Assist in Audit Preparation as well and perform ad hoc month end processes support for external accounts & Finance Manager;
- Coordinate stationary stock control;
- Complete other ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.
**SKILLS & EXPERTISE**:
- Previous experience working within Accounts Receivable and debt collection is essential;
- Possess a qualification in Finance or Accounting is desirable;
- Highly organised with excellent time management and high attention to detail;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Highly competent with Microsoft Office, in particular Excel;
- Experience using MYOB is highly regarded;
- Be a self starter with the ability to take initiative.
