**The opportunity**

As the Emergency Services Coordinator, you will establish systems and skills that respond to emergency situations and provide initial
support and care to those affected, by providing professional leadership within the Emergency Services team. Your key duties will
include, but not limited to:

Coordination for training of Emergency Response skills
Relief Emergency Services Officer duties
Manage all aspects of Emergency Response equipment maintenance, including inspections
Coordination of Fit for Work testing across Perilya Broken Hill operations
Comply with all safety requirements, including Statutory obligations and site standards
Develop, maintain, and operate the emergency systems required to enable safe, reliable operation
Adhere to safety requirements, model safe work behaviour, and monitor safety of operations
Carry out safety interactions and inspections on a regular basis

**What will you bring? **

Occupational First Aid

Previous experience in emergency operations, preferably in Mining

Coaching/mentoring experience in emergency operations

Work well in a team environment and can effectively communicate and influence across site

A can-do attitude, commitment and proactive approach to work and safety standards

An independence that allows you to complete tasks and achieve outcomes

Excellent level of literacy and numeracy skills

Intermediate level of computer literacy
