Road Supervisor - Port Kembla, NSW

Job Description / The Role Toll Group are looking for a proactive and experienced Road Supervisor to lead our local cartage operations in Port Kembla. This is your opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and customer-focused delivery of transport services, whilst supervising drivers, managing fleet allocations and fleet utilisation.

Duties and Responsibilities / a day in the life of a Road Supervisor
- Coordinate and supervise drivers and vehicle allocations to meet customer load requirements.- Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and WHS legislation.- Liaise with customers, internal teams and drivers to ensure service excellence.- Monitor and maintain equipment condition and vehicle maintenance.- Lead safety initiatives, toolbox meetings, and continuous improvement programs.- Manage driver training, performance, conduct safety audits and compliance.- Participate in weekly and monthly planning, reporting, and review activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Previous experience within a similar role within Transport/Logistics industry.- A positive attitude and appetite to learn.- Demonstrated experience with Operations, CoR, Fatigue Management desirable but not essential.- An analytical mind-set - strong ability to problem solve.- Exceptional communication skills - written and verbal.- Computer literacy skills - MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook.- High attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines within a time-pressured environment.
