Great opportunity for an experienced Project Officer to join a State Government Organisation.

**Your new company**

Hays has partnered with a reputable state organisation responsible for driving Queensland's economic growth. We are currently recruiting for an AO7 Principle Project Officer to join their team for a 6-week assignment with the possibility of extension.

**Your new role**
- Undertake analysis of commercial and financial programs, major projects and initiatives. In line with commercial practice and risk guidelines.
- Undertake probity searches for incentive programmes as requested
- Undertake commercial risk assessments on projects for various incentive programmes
- Prepare reports to support business cases
- Assess management capacity and funding capacity on projects
- Contribute to identifying, implementing and monitoring project risks and risk matrix.
- Review assessments and business case proposals
- Coordinate responses to foreign investment proposals and provide responses
- Assist with negotiations and financial analysis of major projects and proposals relating to funding arrangements
- Prepare reports, submissions, briefings and correspondence
- Assist with funding agreement, management and reporting
