Specialist Trainer & Assessor, Earthmoving & Civil Construction - 110k + super

In addition, MultiSkills delivers a broad range of employer-specific, Verification of Competency (VOC) and bespoke training to our industry-based clients. We have a great culture and are looking for experienced and professional Construction Earthmoving Trainers and Assessors to join our team.
We are on the lookout for a skilled and experienced Civil Construction & Earthmoving specialist, who can teach and assess the following topics:
Excavator
Front End Loader
Backhoe Loader
Skid Steer Loader
Roller
Safety & Risk
Plans, Measurements & Calculations
Groundworks & Drainage
Dump Trucks (desirable)
Dozer (desirable)
Grader (desirable)
Scrapers (desirable)
Crushers & Screeners (desirable)
The Role
The position is full-time across both Werribee and Moolap campuses; however, we are open to discussion regarding a roster that suits you. We have a range of days available for teaching between 7:30 am and 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with weekend work possibly available.
About You
We are looking for professional educators with fantastic people skills, a proven civil construction and earthmoving background, and a passion for sharing learnings with others. You may be a great fit if you have the following:
A can-do attitude and an upbeat personality
Ability to multitask in a busy RTO environment
Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously when required
Ability to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines with excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
Possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Demonstrate solid experience as a Trainer/ Assessor and hold current industry skills

If you are currently working towards your TAE401122 Certificate IV Training and Assessment
, you could be working as a trainer, under the supervision of one of our qualified team members.
Requirements
Deliver engaging and relevant training and assessment services (combined theory and practical activities)
Ensure content and delivery of accredited courses meets ASQA/ RTO Standards and other applicable regulations
Supervise students' behaviours and provide engaging and motivating training
Maintain equipment, training venues and training aids to ensure they are serviceable, clean, tidy, and safe for operation
Travel may be required to deliver training off-site
Perform other general duties as required
Essential criteria
Demonstrated Earthmoving experience within the construction/ civil, resources & infrastructure or training sectors
Be eligible to obtain a Working with Children Check Card and a Police Check
You will need to be an Australian Resident
Must hold valid Australian Drivers Licence
