Melbourne, AUCYP Design & Construction Joint Venture (CYP D&C) has been contracted to design and build the tunnels and stations for the Metro Tunnel Project.

CYP D&C brings together three of Australia's leading construction partners John Holland, Lendlease, and Bouygues Construction.

The Metro Tunnel Project will untangle the City Loop by taking three of Melbourne's busiest train lines through a new tunnel under the city. It will create a new end-to-end train line from Sunbury to Cranbourne/Pakenham, with twin nine-kilometre tunnels and five new underground stations at Arden, Parkville, Anzac, and two new CBD stations - State Library and Town Hall - which will directly connect to the City Loop.

An Expression of Interest for Supervisors - Track & Civil, to join our Rail & Tunnel Fit Out team, who will coordinate the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve outcomes of the tunnel fit out delivery, on this iconic Melbourne project.

**Responsibilities of the role include**:

- Manage Rail Trackform Subcontractors including precast installation, post tensioning and wet concrete pour works
- Manage Safety and Quality compliance on site
- Manage and Coordinate People/Plant/Equipment and Material Logistics from Surface and to the work front in the Tunnel
- Manage People & Plant Interface inside the Tunnel and Station Areas
- Coordinate the work and performance of multiple teams and subcontractors to achieve outcomes.
- Provide and take leadership responsibility in health, safety, and environment management.
- Contribute to development of work methods and rolling short term construction programs and plan daily/weekly production work.
- Build strong internal and external stakeholder management through positive, proactive, and professional communication to keep key personnel informed.
- Complete progress reporting, and activities, reports for shift handovers and consistent regular reporting to the Superintendent or Project Manager.
- Ensure compliance of commercial and financial costs including budgets and the implications of directions within your authority limits.
- Strict monitoring of the sub-contractor's daily productivity rates vs programme requirements - providing feedback reports to engineers
- Review and coordinate all temporary works associated with the tunnel fit out delivery
- Facilitate handover process between variable shifts
- Continuous Challenge compliance to staff/subcontractors with GMR's
- Ensure all community relations and compliances are upheld

**To be successful in this key role, you must have**:

- Trade Qualification or similar
- RIW card
- 2-5 years previous construction experience in a similar role
- Substantial Industry experience in Trade and Construction
- Previous Rail and Slab Track experience
- Previous post tensioning experience
- Leading Hand experience
- Technical competency and understanding in the area that supervising
