As the Grid Connection Manager, you will hold a pivotal role in our client's mission, overseeing the critical process of connecting renewable energy projects to the grid in Australia.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Grid Connection Strategy**: Develop and implement strategies for grid connection activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and regulatory requirements.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**: Establish and maintain effective relationships with relevant stakeholders, including network service providers, regulatory bodies, and local communities, to facilitate smooth grid connection processes.
- **Technical Expertise**: Provide technical expertise and guidance on grid connection matters, including network integration studies, connection agreements, and grid code compliance.
- **Project Management**: Lead the grid connection process for renewable energy projects from inception to completion, managing timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and challenges related to grid connection activities and develop mitigation plans to ensure project success.
- **Regulatory Compliance**: Stay updated on relevant regulations and standards related to grid connection in Australia, ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.
- **Team Leadership**: Lead a team of grid connection professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- **Interdepartmental Collaboration**: Collaborate with internal departments such as engineering, legal, and finance to ensure seamless integration of grid connection activities with overall project objectives.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.

- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, grid infrastructure, and regulatory frameworks in Australia.
- Proven track record of successfully managing grid connection processes for large-scale renewable energy projects.
