**About the role**
**Main tasks**: You'll lead the procurement and supply chain team and work with senior management to help make decisions around long-term strategic plans.
**Other tasks**:
**Manage** a small but growing team of procurement and supply chain staff
**Source** raw materials, prepare and negotiate contracts with suppliers
**Ensure** adequate stock levels to meet quality and budget requirements
**Drive** procurement research and analysis, risk assessment, and strategic planning
**Collaborate** with other divisions for overall business improvements

- Experience in procurement & supply chain management for a large business
- An understanding of supplier negotiations, writing supplier agreements & excellent negotiation skills
- Have worked in paint, chemicals, manufacturing, or a similar industry
**You will be highly regarded if you also have**:
- Experience in best practice procurement research & analysis, risk assessment & strategic planning
- Tertiary qualifications in procurement, supply chain or similar field
- Knowledge of purchasing raw materials, ideally chemicals
