Company Description

MedHealth are currently seeking someone with a high level of initiative, an eye for detail, and a professional can-do attitude to join our expanding GRC team as a full time of part time role.

Reporting to the Security and Compliance Manager, the Audit and Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance within MedHealth Business Unit against security standards including ISO27001, NIST and IRAP. You will be responsible for IT policy documentation, establishing IT process controls, 3rd Party Risk Management and internal IT Audit requirements.

**Job Description**:
Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

- Manage internal IT Audit calendar and report on results of internal audit programme.
- Participation in external security audits including ISO27001 and IRAP
- Assist with 3rd Party Risk Management and onboarding of new vendor to ensure security requirement are met.
- Responding to third party security questionnaires and tender requests.
- Assisting with both scheduled and unscheduled security assurance activities to test the effectiveness of security controls (e.g. penetration tests, risk assessments, disaster recovery exercises, audits).
- Co-ordination and management of all remediation activities identified as part of any audit and / or client due diligence activities.
- Assisting security assurance activities to test the effectiveness of security controls (e.g., penetration tests, risk assessments, disaster recovery exercises, audits).

**Qualifications**:
To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:

- Suitable experience including at least 1 year in an IT technical role or an Audit and Compliance role.
- A tertiary degree in IT or related field advantageous.
- Knowledge of IT risks and appropriate security controls and technologies.
- Experience with ISO27001 or IRAP, would be an advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience and interest in information security.
- A high level of business / commercial acumen is essential, you must have an understanding of IT in terms of how it affects all operational areas.
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency and willing and able to undertake a suitability background check.
