About the Opportunity: John Paul College is seeking a dynamic and organised Performing Arts Support Co-Ordinator to join our vibrant Performing Arts department.
This full-time position (38 hours per week, 8:00am to 4:15pm, Monday to Friday) offers an exciting opportunity to support our extensive music and performing arts programs while working with passionate educators, talented students, and engaged families.
As our Performing Arts Support Co-Ordinator, you will be at the heart of our department's operations, managing communications, coordinating events, and ensuring the smooth delivery of our wide-ranging performing arts activities.
You'll work collaboratively with music coordinators, tutors, and teaching staff to create exceptional experiences for our students and families.
Key responsibilities include: Managing all departmental communications with students, parents, staff, and external stakeholders Coordinating ensemble registrations, competitions, and performance events Maintaining student databases and managing administrative processes Supporting financial administration including timesheets, purchasing, and invoicing Facilitating awards management and recognition programs Assist with supporting the College Music Library & Performing Arts assets Assisting with larger events and production schedules as required This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as you'll be supporting a dynamic department with regular performances, competitions, and special events throughout the academic year.

About You: You are an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and values excellence in arts education.
You understand the importance of strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues, and bring professionalism, organisation, and genuine care to all that you do.
Ideally you will hold a Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent qualification and will be able to demonstrate the high-quality interpersonal and administrative skills required to deliver exemplary support to our performing arts community.
Your knowledge, experience, and practical skills in administrative support, preferably within educational or arts environments, will be beneficial in ensuring our department continues to provide outstanding opportunities for student growth and achievement.
Candidates will be viewed favourably if they have: Previous experience in administrative roles within educational or performing arts environments Proficiency with student information systems (Synergetic preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite Strong financial administration skills including experience with purchase orders and invoice processing Understanding of the unique requirements of music education and ensemble coordination Passion for supporting young people's artistic development and educational journey In accordance with current Government requirements, successful applicants must be able to undertake employment screening for child-related employment which includes maintaining a current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) whilst employed at the College.
