Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission. The Magistrates' Court of Victoria (MCV) is the first level of the Victorian court system and is a jurisdiction within the Court Services Victoria. It has a long history of providing justice for the people of Victoria in metropolitan and regional courts across the state. The Court determines in excess of 300,000 cases per annum at 51 locations, equating to approximately 90 percent of all cases that come before Victorian courts each year. The Court aims to be an innovative, accessible, and responsive court that provides quality services to the Victorian community.

**About the role**

We're looking for a passionate and experienced leader to take charge of our Court Referral and Outreach Program (CROP) team. This is your opportunity to shape therapeutic justice in Victoria, guiding a dedicated team and influencing outcomes for some of the most vulnerable individuals in our community.

As the CROP Manager, you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality assessment and case management services across courts and prisons. You'll lead a multidisciplinary team, drive best practice, and provide expert advice that helps shape judicial decisions. Your work will directly support individuals with complex needs, helping them access the right services at the right time.

With a strong foundation in therapeutic services and proven leadership experience, the CROP Manager plays a pivotal role in guiding a high-performing team across Victoria's courts and prisons. This role demands deep expertise in assessment and case management practices, including the administration of risk and needs assessment tools. The CROP Manager provides authoritative advice to the team, courts, and judiciary, ensuring that every recommendation is grounded in best practice and tailored to individual needs. Beyond technical leadership, the role also involves coordinating support services and building meaningful relationships with key stakeholders to drive impactful outcomes across the justice system.

**About you**
- ; Extensive experience in assessment and case management, especially with clients facing multiple and complex challenges.
- ; A strong understanding of solution-focused courts and therapeutic program delivery-experience within a prison context is highly valued.
- ; Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, from judicial officers to community organisations.
- ; Solid knowledge of evidence-informed practice models for working with individuals experiencing mental illness, intellectual disability, or acquired brain injury.
- ; Experience in triage and waitlist management, with a focus on ensuring timely and appropriate support.
